my breathtaking weekend!

sometimes i wish i was a full-time photographer, tasked to capture the pretty sunsets of every day!! i really find it so so amazing that the most beautiful sights to behold are always produced naturally, by the basic elements of the earth..in the case of sunsets, the interplay between sunlight, water vapour, temperature and wind (which mould the shapes of clouds) and a wonderful blue sky as a background!

i'm always very excited to chance upon pretty skies, even if they consist of just a small pink cloud..sometimes i wonder why those around me can't seem to appreciate such scenery as much as me! isn't it so breathtaking! and with every minute that passes, as the sun sets in its hurried pace, the sky is never the same again..
below are some pictures i took over the weekend, at causeway point on saturday when rspid peeps went for dinner together, and ad west coast park on sunday! :)

these next two photos were taken through the glass door of the food court at causeway point..the sky was so orangey! according to bingyao it was probably because of the rain which fell later that evening..
i'm not sure what this flower is called, but zk's dad planted it! :) he loves gardening hehe
sleepy cat we met while walking to west coast park
i liked the way the sun's rays created golden streaks on the green grass!

the start of our my sunset-phototaking! felt that the rounded trees gave a nice silhouette

we could literally see the sky turning pink, from orange, as the sun disappeared into the horizon

the sky continued to darken, and it was time to make our way home!

it's been a while since we last visited west coast park, even though i always feel like going there! glad we made the decision to take the twenty-minute walk there, and get some time away from all the stresses of projects, presentations and what-not! thank you for making my sunday so enjoyable dear :)
